| Bio: | Born in Miami, Florida, I am the daughter of Cuban parents, and for some reason or other am the most liberal person in my household, to my very unhappy grandparent's shame. Anti-Bush, anti-stupid politians (or same thig as the previous stated), and their stupid legislation (unfortunately this administration suffers from this), and hoping to get a degree in International Relations. Funny, I am bit anti-American, but I still like to represent the country in an embassy. Why you might ask, because my parents fleed their home country because they could not speak their minds, and here I am, in this country speaking against the nation and still have not been killed or called an idiot. Well, yeah that sums up my appreciation of our government, but I do love history, too. Nothing like reading a good old book about Napoleon's conquests, or Rome's fall. Yeah I know, I am a nerd, although for some reason I am a fashion fiend, always shopping for the cheapest, most affordable clothes in stores to look like the magazines. My idols are Bill Clinton (born on the same day as he), Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr, and Princess Diana. Funny how I like everybody from other nations, and I totally forget about my parent's country, so I will add, Jose Marti, and Juan Carlos I of Spain for giving his people the right to vote for Representatives. Well, about me again, yes, I like to read anything that sounds interesting, whether they be about science, scifi, romance, comedy, and or thrillers thrillers, if it is interesting, I am for it. Movies, I like foreign flicks that are really hard to get in Miami, love world music, and am an avid fan of the Doctor Who series (And Father Ted, Thermal Man- or is it My Hero?, Coupling, and the Masterpiece Theatre). Google my name... hint... 'eirene' and you will find that it is the original name of the Goddess of peace in Greece, mine is the Roman version, and my last name was the Spanish King's name, the last one before Spain fell under Franco's control, and you will find me as one of the reviewers for a Masterpiece Theatre, and I was fifteen at the time. Since I love Doctor who, my blogs are mostly my stories of Doctor Who. So yeah you can call me a nerd if you like. Or a geek. Or a dork.
